Aging People, Aging Places book launch

Thank you to all those who attended the Aging People, Aging Places: Experiences, Opportunities, and Challenges of Growing Older in Canada book launch. The book is the product of Pop Place director Dr. Maxwell Hartt and Pop Place collaborator Dr. Samantha Biglieri, along with their co-editors Professor Mark Rosenberg (Queen’s University) and Dr. Sarah Nelson (University of Nebraska at Omaha).

The editors want to sincerely thank all the contributors who shared their stories and research, especially keynote speaker Connie Paul – an Indigenous elder and contributor to the book. They would also like to thank Pop Place master’s student Rachel Barber and TMU undergraduate student Raisa Chowdhury for all their help organizing and running the event. Lastly, they would like to sincerely thank Policy Press for all their support (and for providing copies of the book for the raffle)!
