Pop Place Director Maxwell Hartt and Graduate Research Fellow Janine Dodge spent the week in beautiful Hong Kong.
Dr. Hartt delivered the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences The Education University of Hong Kong’s Spring keynote lecture (“Aging Playfully”) and Janine presented her doctoral work on Aging Playfully Brazil. They also participated in a roundtable, met with students, and ran a writing workshop. Thank you to everyone at The Education University of Hong Kong for the warm welcome and inspiring conversations. A special thank you to Dr. Izzy Yi Jian – we cannot wait to welcome you at Queen’s University.
The Pop Placers also met with faculty from The University of Hong Kong (thanks for organizing Dr. Patrick Adler), Dr. Kar Him Mo from the Happy Ageing Lab, and Kathy Wong & Potato Yu from Playright Children’s Play Association.
Could not have asked for a more insightful, productive, and exciting week. This is just the beginning.
